Editing: In terms of editing, we as a group had to come to a consensus at many different stages of the process, this included where to end the music, cutting the shots, and how to present our flashbacks. My team and I decided to select 'when I paint my masterpiece' as the soundtrack for our piece, my role in this particular part was to decide when to cut off the music in this clip, I decided to do this as soon as Darren closes the door to build up tension. After this decision was made, we as a group decided to incorporate a long eerie drone for the rest of the clip before Darren is attacked to create tension. The most difficult part of editing, was with our flashbacks, we decided to input a millisecond white video of key framed opacity either side of the flashback. Also, we decided to make the flashbacks look dissimilar to all of our other shots, we did this by altering the graininess of the image to give it a vignette feel. Also, we made the colour a lot darker, and changed it to a darker colour to create a more eerie feel.
Location: As I have stated before, the location for our clip is in a mysterious looking caravan. This caravan is located at the back of my team member's house (Tom). Though despite this, it is situated in a very isolated area and the solitary way of getting to the location is by car. Originally, I planned to get the train to edenbridge and meet George who could drive me to Tom's house as it was nearby. However, after getting to my local station by 6:15am, all trains to edenbridge were cancelled due to a flooding on the train line, this created a massive problem for the myself and the team, I was not aware at the time that all the trains were to be cancelled and therefore I continued to wait at the station. Eventually, I had to call George and ask if he could give me a lift. By the time my team member arrived to take me, it was around 9:30am on a very cold, drizzly morning. To avoid this happening again, I and the rest of my teammates have come to a consensus that we should avoid public transport due to the unreliability if it. It is extremely fortunate that my other team member is able to drive (George) ; therefore, he can pick me up and take me to the location to meet the other member of our team in the remainder of our shoots. During the journey, I used a map to locate George and direct him to Tom's house. Whilst me and George were travelling to the location, Tom was making the caravan look suitable for our shoot and getting all the equipment together.
Preparation: The first thing I did to prepare for this task, was to enquire about the availability of the track&dolly, the tripod and the camera, (the image for this is below). I completed this by emailing my teacher. Also, I had to wake up extremely early around 5:45am, and I had to prepare all my equipment the night before. This included hiking boots, cargo trousers, jumpers and a big coat as this is what we wanted our character, Darren to look like.

Filming: As I play the character Darren, I am given prevalence in the clip and therefore I feature in the majority if not all of the shots. Despite this, in some of our shots we take it at least 5-6 times as we believe we can make it better and I occasionally give advice as to how to make the shot look better and more effective.
Are we shooting again? We are going to shoot again on Thursday 22nd January to take an establishing shot of a forest location to put at the start of our sequence. This will not be a long shoot as it is on a school day. We also plan to shoot the whole of Sunday 25th January to do the remaining shots of our clip which are all more or less inside the caravan. The preparation for this will be identical to the shoot before, however, this time I am not going to attempt to use public transport. Also, when we arrive at location, we cannot afford to be too slow in terms of shooting as it is almost certainly our last shoot, therefore time management is key as we should spend a similar amount of time on each individual shot.
